Tai Chi and Qi Gong for both health and Self-Defence. With a wealth of experience as a teacher of these
methods of self-empowerment and healing, he has worked with people from 7 - 80 years old, including those
with M.E., M.S., Crones Disease, Parkinson's Disease, Arthritis, Osteoporosis, Asthma, and various other
conditions.
All sessions focus on the development and cultivation of one's internal energy (Qi), relaxed vitality and
the harmony of Heart, Mind and Body, as well as the application of these principles for Self-Defence.
Cheyne is currently studying Liu He Ba Fa (Water Style Boxing) under the guidance of Sifu Nathan Menaged and his U.K. representative Paul Andrews.

Heart-Mind Therapies
The concept of the 'Heart-Mind' is Chinese in origin, and refers to the unification of both the mental and
emotional bodies. Creating this balance between the mind and emotions is vitally important, and will enable
an individual to become more focussed, calm and natural in every situation, therefore increasing overall wellbeing.
Heart-Mind Therapies are a unique synthesis of qigong exercise (which focuses on mindful-breathing,
physical relaxation and release of tension) and effective techniques of therapeutic hypnosis for the
cultivation of mental and emotional balance.
These methods are designed to relax the muscles, gently stretch and invigorate the tendons, develop
better posture, oxygenate the blood, whilst calming and regulating the Heart and Mind. All exercises are appropriate
to the needs of each individual.
